I think the biggest hurdle for me is just starting, but then if the characters draw me in, I'm hooked and can keep going? Or I watch it for a certain actor *cough* and then it's just nice to see their face a lot. So far I've been lucky with my choices!

Yay for Nirvana in Fire! It sounds like a cozy rewatch experience, if not a cozy drama in itself. 😄
