๐ In your own space, create a fanwork.
I did! I created a rec list for Guardian Appreciation Bingo. :-D Making a conscious effort to leave a comment on things I enjoyed was definitely more "work" than I usually do when reading a fic or looking at fanart, and I'm in awe of people who read a lot and also comment a lot. You carry fandom on your shoulders!

๐ In your own space, talk about your favorite trope, clichรฉ, kink, motif, or theme.
Oh man, I feel like I enjoy SO MANY things, but when it comes to signing up for gift exchanges or writing wishlist letters, I'm lucky to remember, like, three. In my general media consumption, I like found family a lot. I love, love the way Leverage handled the slow building of trust and affection, how there were different kinds of relationships and comfort levels, but they all clearly belonged together. (Also, OT3! Gosh, I love poly.) In my fanwork consumption, I'm drawn to power imbalances of various kinds. Age difference, D/s relationships, alpha/omega shenanigans, bodyguard/principal, give me aaaaall the tropes, no need to subvert them, thank you!

๐ In your own space, set yourself some goals for the coming year. They can be fannish or not, public or private.
I said in my 2022 Writing Meme that I can't really think of any goals for this year, but now that I've written and posted some Chu Shuzhi/Shen Wei id fic, I think I'd like to do more of that. Broaden my horizons somewhat! Post stuff I and five other people find hot, and not care about the rest! Break out of my comfort zone a tiny little bit, maybe.
We'll see how that goes. :-D

LOL, same! All the tropes, straight up (for a given value of straight, obvs).
