There are a few I really like, but let's say you whose heart would sing of anarchy, which is 5000 words of post-canon Ye Liuxi/Chang Dong softness with porn and feelings.
First of all, that's a banger title. Thank you, Hozier. Secondly, I don't often write 5000+ words for a fandom, and I really like how these came together. I mostly had some horny scenes in mind that I needed to embed in a bit of context, and then suddenly it was a whole fic and these sweethearts were so happy together. 🥹 Shoutout toyue_ix for providing a lot of porn inspiration! <3
It currently has 69 hits (nice), 9 kudos, and 3 comments, and I treasure every one of those.
Unreal Unearth sent me on a bit of a Hozier journey, I GUESS. Also, huh, more Luca Fogale than I thought!
Like last year, marking the ones where I had strong feelings about the song vis-a-vis the fic with a *; the rest I merely thought fitting at the time.

The last fic only exists because I listened to that song on repeat in the car while pondering my Red Pocket prompt. Music! What would we do without it.
Fell in love with Pingxie this year, oops. I just checked; apparently I watched 163 tomb show episodes over the span of seven months, plus 3 movies. This fucking franchise. I've only written three Pingxie fics so far, but I'm hoping to add more.
Hmm. I don't think I really struggled with a character, as such. I thought I'd have a hard time writing Xiaoge POV, but once I decided to focus on his journey after the return from the jade hoohah, where he barely has any idea where he is, it made things easier? Is that cheating? >.>
I want to write more Xidong and more Pingxie, muses~ willing. Unfortunately, the smallest fandoms with the sparsest feedback, especially when compared to Guardian, but the heart wants what it wants. 😔 I haven't written RPF in a relatively long time, and I really want to add Ni Ni to the polycule one of these days, but again, there's like zero audience for it. Alas! (Sending glitter hearts to the literally three people who'd read it, I love you!)
