The Rebel trailer, I think, had mostly LNS's reaction to seeing the torture victim, which I found so viscerally upsetting to see, it took me a while to even touch anything Rebel-related. Which, props to Z1L's acting, but my brain did NOT like it. This trailer is more explicit, but I don't know, I might give the drama a chance depending on what the flist says? We'll see!
Glad to see him in stuff that isn't office rom-coms, anyway! Just for his portfolio.

Hah, yes. XD Honestly I'd even be down for watching him in more romcoms (like, actually watching them rather than just skimming to his parts) if they were good and he was actually the lead and got an according amount of screen time. I don't absolutely need him to be in dark dramas where everyone suffers all the time. But I'm glad to see some variety. ;)
(Also scrolling down through the other comments, I just want to say again that I really appreciate all your Weibo/Twitter/etc. links! I barely ever check any social media sites other than DW, so I always miss things.)

THIS. So much. He can do so much more than the romcoms have been asking of him.

(And aww, you're welcome! I keep track of my Wang Yang tweets over here, and most things should be accessible without a Twitter account. If it's a thread, you'll only see the first tweet, though. But yeah, lots of pretty!)

Bookmarked! :D
(OMG the swishy skirt thing. He looks so confused. XD)

Same, on the whole. Oh well--I'm not a Wang Yibo person myself but hopefully costarring with him will add to Wang Yang's name recognition as well?
(and I looked through the comments above and found the Weibo link, ADORABLE <3. I love it that he seems to be able to balance a thriving career with being a dad.)

Yeah, that was my thinking too! Fingers crossed for bigger, better roles.
Although, he still seems kind of approachable at this point, like he talks to the airport fangirls sometimes and takes their gifts when it can't be avoided 😄 and posts adorable dad pics and generally just doesn't seem completely caught in the fame bubble? I wouldn't want him to become HUGE and get mobbed everywhere he goes! He might be trying to thread that needle as well, so he can have a family life.
ANYWAY, ANYWAY. We're all normal about him here. :-D
