Wang Yang turns 46 today! 🎉🎂🎁 To celebrate, have a picspam! These are just some of my favorite pics, many of which I've posted here and/or on Twitter before. Just wanted to have them all in one place. <3
They're sooo sweet together, I hope they'll be the happiest married couple foreverrrrr! And yes, he seems like such a charming/funny/easy-going person to hang out with. *chinhands*
Wow, I love the decollete pics! Something about the shape of his subtle expressions reminds me of Hu Ge (whom I've only seen and adored in Nirvana in Fire).

(Man, he looks so different in his early photos! At least to me... like I literally cannot recognize him as the same person no matter how long I look at them. >_> Sometime I want to watch one of his early shows and see if I can get my brain to make the connection once I see him in motion...)
He does look rather different in his early pictures! Especially with the eyeliner, gosh I love that set so much, it's so delightfully queer. <3
Sadly, I only have those old ones from 2013 (I think?) and then again from 2022 onwards, and only a few pics from the years between, most notably with his wife, awww. <3 So some progression is lost.

...Okay, this post actually made me go look for the one slightly older show of his that I thought I might be able to find, Prince Coffee Lab, which I'm now four episodes into. It's still fairly recent (2018) but he does look younger and at least a little more like his 2013 photos (except, you know, fully clothed and without eyeliner XD though in the first episode he totally hits on a girl while he thinks she's a boy, so... there's that...)
A guy who loves to talk about sharing Lin Nansheng with other men and women CANNOT be entirely straight, I KNOW I'M RIGHT. *carefully adjusts tinhat* Anyway, his face seems to change a lot depending on his hair, and several of his earlier roles seem to have bad wigs or floppy hair, plus the buzz cut is also very unusual on him, so. Hard to pin his face down! Here's another one I really like, date unknown. (HANDS.)
And yes, that's his wife, they're super cute together!

Ah! I can kind of recognize him in this one, and also it's very pretty. <3 And yeah, you make a very good point about his hair, somehow I hadn't really thought about that.

Happy birthday, Wang Yang! These are gorgeous, thank you for putting so many of them in one place. He looks amazing no matter how he's photographed, but honestly I like best the ones which are (or look) less dramatic/posed, just Wang Yang grinning at the camera as if he's in the middle of a conversation over coffee somewhere...
I admit, I love looking at him when he's all styled and made-up and besuited, but his smiles are also my favorite. Like, you said, when he seems relaxed and approachable and happy. 🥹 The best thing is when both things come together!
(I was maybe vibrating out of my skin a little bit when Meng Yinan did a magazine shoot with him and had him smiling so big. Also I think he liked his hands a LOT, which, relatable. Also also, same chair. 🫢)
