Hong Kong trip impressions

I wasn't going to make a vacation post, because the thought of doing a whole writeup was too overwhelming, but sakana17's and grayswandir's posts inspired me to at least share some pictures from the Hong Kong portion of the adventure. I was lucky enough to meet gray (and unfortunately missed sakana by a few days), and got to hang out with wenella (the wenella), who was the absolutely kindest host and took me to all the nice places.

So, pictures.

Cannot thank wenella enough for finding these spots for me, and gray for spending like half an hour taking a picture of me at Pottinger Street. Patience of a saint, honestly. Also sorry to all the other tourists for hogging this prime photo spot, I HAD TO GO GET THE POSE JUST RIGHT. (Too shy to post the pic, but let's say we got pretty close to Zhu Yilong's angle.)

And that was (some of) my Hong Kong trip in pictures. I'd really like to go back, and maybe attempt Shanghai Film Park as well. One day!

It was honestly a lot of fun trying to get that Zhu Yilong shot. :D

Lovely photos! I didn't realize you went up to the Peak at night. That's such a nice night view -- someday when I finally get around to going, I think I'll try to go at night/evening as well.

I'm hoping to check out the Shanghai Film Park sometime too. Future goals!

Haha, I guess we were having fun while everyone else was grumbling about us (me) hogging the spot for so long. Ah well, got my pic! <3

We went up late in the afternoon, I think, and then spent like three hours taking pics with Zhu Sanlong. 😄 So it was dark by the time we went outside. So you could do both! There's also a mall up there, you can spend a while wandering around before sunset. And then see the light show, too!

this all looks so fabulous! Jealous! I am obsessed with the mystery food in the giant egg next to the dumplings. Also the Zhu Yilong and ZK pilgrimage, what fun. Zhu Sanlong looks kind of tired and forcing himself to smile, which is amazing - I mean, they got him.

lolololol HE'S DOING HIS BEST. They did put a horrible wig on him, it really looks bad, and you can see in the poster next to him that it looked GOOD when he was new! Don't know what happened there. But you can cuddle up to him, it's nice. 😌

I forgot what wenella had that came in the big egg, but yes the presentation was very lovely. The tea, too.

Maybe you can do your own blorbo pilgrimage someday! <3

Ohnoo you're so right about the wig, I hadn't clocked the photo but the difference is glaring. What a shame, I hope the good hair was out for cleaning or something 👀

I'm so glad I decided to go! I was sad to leave Singapore, but then it was sooo nice! And I got to cross the road he crossed. 🥹 Nine months prior. 🥹
