The first thing I made in this shiny new fandom, and it's just unabashed AGONY. \o/ (A million thanks to kernezelda who screencapped the entire show, in HD, frame by frame, and then shared it all! OMG!)

Actually, the first idea I had for a photo set was this poem, specifically this part of it:

I KNOW, I KNOW. But I thought it would have been perfect for ZYL's sacrifice, with the Dixingren dancing under their newly blue sky in the last pic. So I finally googled the thing and yes, it's not actually by Persian poet Hafiz, but by some shady American dude who said Hafiz spoke to him in a dream. Uh-huh. Anyway, TIL!

My angst meter is definitely calibrated wrong, because the first thing this made me think of was that ring Lin Jing made for Sha Ya. LOL!

Ha, I didn't really get it either, especially 'cause she says she's not into him in that way (I have a habit of believing people when they say that), but fandom has somewhat swayed me since then... (actually my preferred pairing there would be Zhu Hong/Sha Ya/Lin Jing, but I don't know if anyone's ever written it...)

Zhu Hong/Sha Ya/Lin Jing is definitely not a pairing I would have considered before, but what an interesting idea. :-D Zhu Hong definitely needs someone, maybe two someones, to help her get over ZYL!
