Guardian Wishlist!

I love this event and this fandom, there are always such riches at the end! And the wishlists are full of inspiring prompts, so there's extra serotonin from creating things for others.

First of all, forerussake made me two whole fanmixes! One about Wu Xie and his emotional support boyfriends, and a most magnificent Zhubai mix which you should really give a listen if you like the (quiet place) series. *_* And then I got another, very different fanmix from yue_ix with clubby, campy, dancy ZYL/YZ vibes. \o/ So much fun!

I wrote these smol things:

🏠 Home (for nanimono_da)
» Weilan / post-canon / 500 words
» A little drabble collection like we used to make them, with one-word prompts inspired by the Guardian finale. A bit of sadness, a bit of h/c, a happy ending.


🪶 (like i was looking for a place to rest) (for mergatrude)
» Chuguo / post-canon / 300 words
» A triple drabble about Guo Changcheng growing wings, containing ALL the tropes.


🥟 One More Day (for amedia)
» gen with background Weilan and Chuguo / 1000 words
» A sequel to Amedia's delightful Guardian/due South crossover One More Pastry, in which Ray and Fraser hang out with the SID team and Dief is the main attraction.


🍑 not only the sugar, but the days (for nnozomi)
» Huo Daofu x Bai Haotian / 3000 words / rated G
» A Reboot ship I didn't expect to write, but gosh it was a lot of fun. If it was ten times longer I'd call it slow burn, but it tries its best.


☀️ I will set sails and follow the breeze (for shadaras)
» Iron Triangle / 1500 words / rated G
» A bit of Reboot post-canon softness in which I tried to explore what Xiaoge might get up to on his mystery errands. Also, there's cuddles.


(I got a bit carried away trying to make all the word counts nice round numbers, and yes, it's immensely satisfying to look at.)

So satisfying! It started with the drabbles and the due South crossover, which I wanted to be 1000 words for some reason, and then after that I had to make everything match. 😅

It was a very productive month! I'm trying to keep the momentum going and write some more, maybe finish some things. Making Huo Daofu and Xiao Bai be sweet with each other was super fun, I'm happy you liked it! 😊
