Three fannish things!

(1) My wishlist has been posted, whee! I wanted to do it in hard mode and come up with fresh likes and prompts without consulting my previous posts, which was clearly a silly idea. But the general section is much more concise now. 😄

(2) I have signed up for a card in the Summer Fic Reading Challenge and have started reading things! I really don't read a lot, certainly not books and only fics I can do in one sitting. So, reading and commenting is happening now, and it feels nice. (I'm allowing myself meta as well, if it works for the prompt. It's fannish words!)


(3) Zhu Yilong and the rest of the Land of Broken Heart cast did a concert by the beach two weeks ago and wow, it was An Experience. He looked so happy and radiant and relaxed and also ARMS. O_O I had no idea going in what the hell was happening, and I'm still not sure whose idea this was and what Glass Man is (maybe a fashion magazine?), but it happened and it was such a joy to watch (with some filler). * Around the 1:50 mark in the YouTube video, Wen Shipei gives Long-ge a little kissie on the cheek, and Qiu Tian (who apparently just plays herself in the movie) does excited heart hands behind them. Later on, they drag Peng Guanying on stage, which you can see in the full recording. It was a wild night. 🍹🍹🍹

Oh right! I saw the magazine shoot in your post! I think I got confused because I stumbled across one of the front row dudes at the concert on XHS and thought he reps a jewelry brand or something, I didn't quite understand his bio. But okay, Glass is a fashion magazine, and Glass Man is for men, this all makes sense now. They sponsored a private beach concert for a movie about aliens, uh-huh uh-huh.

That concert was quite something! :D

He still can't sing his way out of a paper bag ;), but he looked so happy doing it. And he did better with the faster songs than the slow one.

I think they were having some sound issues on top of his nerves and whatnot, but I love how by the end it didn't even matter anymore. 😄 Just vibes! Just this movie cast having fun! Peng Guanying is also there, because why not! :-D
